At the 77th edition of the Golden Globe Awards, he won best soundtrack for Hildur and best actor for Phoenix. In the 73rd edition of the British Academy of Cinema Awards, he also received 11 nominations.In the cast as main characters we have Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur (Joker), Robert de Niro as Murray Franklin, Zazie Beetz as Sophie Dumond and Frances Conroy as Penny Fleck.

Arthur Fleck works as a clown in the city of Gotham because his dream has always been to be a comedian, he lives alone with his mother. One day Arthur is fired from his job which causes him to participate in a show of comedy, when he comes home through letters he manages to intuit who his father is, going out to look for it. When he returns he sees his mother being taken to the hospital, there he gets to see on TV that they're passing his joke routine because someone had recorded it, but this is not satisfactory to him because the presenter only mocks him.

Days later he is invited to the show where his emotional stability is on the verge of collapse, what will happen in that interview?. The story is interesting from start to finish as its main and secondary characters have great relevance in the story, without setting aside the soundtrack that's spectacular.
